The Beauty Dept. - Laura Geller

On Sunday the day started very differently from my average Sunday, I had the pleasure to be invited for a lovely brunch at The Tea Terrace in House of Fraser to meet the inspiring founder of Laura Geller Beauty.

We were introduced to the brand during a lovely chat over brunch followed by a masterclass on the products on the ground floor of House Fraser. I was lucky enough to come home with a lovely goody bag filled with Laura Geller goodies.

The first one that I was really excited to try was the Spackle® Under Make-Up Primer in the shade Champagne, perfect for those days when your skin is in need of a radiance boost, with lightweight, breathable formula. From the baked range my favourite is definitely the very much acclaimed Balance-N-Brighten baked powder foundation - swirled with illuminating, colour-correcting veins to counteract ruddiness and blur imperfections. Next on my list would definitely be the Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator with strobing being one of the biggest trends of the moment this highlighter is definitely on my Top 3 (alongside my Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop), and while everyone is lusting over the Gilded Honey shade I much prefer Ballerina (pictured) a dusky rose gold.

It was very lovely to have the opportunity to meet the founder of the brand and hear the brand's story from a first person perspective. Thank you so much Mark McDonald Consultancy for the kind invite and House Fraser for the lovely brunch.
