Louis Vuitton: Series 3 exhibition is a multi-sensorial experience that allows us to explore and understand the creative process of the mind behind the brand - Nicolas Ghesquière. The exhibition uses technology to get you inside Ghesquière's mind and show you different steps of creative process, and it's so impactful that sometimes it's almost impossible to understand what's real and what's a projection of reality.
Accessories are a really big focus for Louis Vuitton's business and one of the main focus of the exhibition is La Petit Malle, one of Ghesquière's first major hits on the brand. 'The Artists Room' a room with several table tops where you can sit and watch videos of the artisans hands in the process of making some of the label's most famous pieces in real-time, while upstairs you can watch two artisans from the Paris atelier do it for real, while answering the viewers questions. My favourite room was definitely the walk-in closet where the majority of the pieces from Autumn 15 are displayed without any restrictions for the viewer to touch.
At the end of the exhibition the visitors are gifted with a selection of Louis Vuitton icons stickers and a poster with some of the campaign images photographed by Bruce Weber and Juergen Teller. You can visit the exhibition until tomorrow at 180 The Strand.
